Next up is Anthony Yarranton's debut EL-EL release "City Of Steel", a dark as you like, old school sounding prog trance tribute to Sheffield, the city in which he now resides. A location rich in musical history (The Human League, Warp Records, Pulp, Cabaret Voltaire, LFO), and a destination close to our hearts here at Lost Language HQ, having spent many a wild weekend, and made numerous life long friends at Gatecrasher nightclub, as wide-eyed trance pups back in the day.

Tim Bourne provides us with two remixes of "City Of Steel" that both start off in a near-identical fashion, before each taking a different route to their final destinations. The "Peace Gardens" remix is the more uplifting of the two, whilst the "Meadowhall" version takes us on a much darker journey. Locals will get it.

If that wasn't enough, Anthony Yarranton provides us with another Sheffield inspired original "S1", that channels the spirit of classic IQ, Superstition, and Bonzai records, and has already seen support from fellow Yorkshireman and Lost Language artist Paul Pearson.
