Weaving organic, tribal, melodic and tech elements with his distinctive afro-progressive approach, the South African artist navigates an emotional, intuitive journey marked with solace in the inherent duality of darkness. Alluding to a recurrent biblical theme, a symbolic regalia of time and quantity, existence, presence and testimony, 40 Nights pummels through coarse waves of sound - tempered pitch, tempo, timbre - hemmed by fleeting vocals that withstand the test of faith, ultimately casting hope and light in the beauty of process.
