With the term of Cinematic Music we could mean any type of music because any piece of music, in reality, can accompany and be synchronized with visual images and therefore also cinematographic. In our common imagination, however, film music is mostly linked to our memories and therefore to a whole series of films that have used particular background sounds ranging from classical orchestral, to jazz and funky and which have characterized cinematography American and European of the last century. Starting from this principle, in this collection we have chosen the tracks from the Irma catalog that mix this type of atmosphere with jazzy sound.


Con il termine di Musica Cinematica si potrebbe intendere qualsiasi tipo di musica perché qualsiasi brano musicale, nella realtà, può accompagnare ed essere sincronizzato con delle immagini visive e quindi anche cinematografiche. Nel nostro immaginario comune la musica da film è però per lo più legata ai nostri ricordi e quindi a tutta una serie di film che hanno utilizzato particolari suoni di sottofondo che vanno dall’orchestrale classico, al jazz e al funky e che hanno caratterizzato la cinematografia americana ed europea del secolo scorso. Partendo da questo principio, abbiamo scelto in questa raccolta i brani del catalogo Irma che mescolano di più questo tipo di atmosfere con il sound jazz.
