Nel sound contemporaneo l’influenza della musica psichedelica nata a cavallo tra gli anni 60 e gli anni 70 è spesso più che percepibile. Il suono lisergico, astratto e sognante che è esploso con il rock in quegli anni fantastici si è poi sempre di più mescolato a tutte le musiche che erano allora in piena evoluzione, come il jazz, il soul e il funk, e ancora oggi in tutte le sue variate forme la musica ne risente l’influenza. Noi di Irma Records abbiamo cercato di selezionare nel nostro catalogo quei brani che a nostro parere hanno subito questa contaminazione, al di là di ogni genere specifico.


In the contemporary sound, the influence of psychedelic music born between the 60s and 70s is often more than perceptible. The lysergic, abstract and dreamy sound that exploded with rock in those fantastic years was then increasingly mixed with all the music that was then in full evolution, such as jazz, soul and funk, and still today in all of his varied forms the music is affected by this influence. We at Irma Records have tried to select in our catalog those songs that in our opinion have undergone this contamination, beyond any specific genre.
