Mr. Eclectic in this musical work, titled Demerara, shows off some of his Guyanese roots as he musically narrates to us a part of his heritage. Demerara is a river in eastern Guyana that originates from the central rain forests of the country, flowing down to the north till the Atlantic Ocean. According to Mr.Electic, the song Demerara represents "my people and my heart beat for my country. The bass represents the struggle and hardship of my country the synth represents always seeing the best in the worst situations."
