Thomas Cerutti is back on Roush with another impressive EP confirming the good relationship between Novara’s artist and our growing family. His return comes just after a great couple of releases on interesting labels such as Cocoa or Witty Tunes where the Italian has shown great production skills accompanied with an innate understand about actual dancefloor. Regarding to the EP, tittle cut ‘Play With Me’ opens things with a rolling groove offered by a delayed percussion that plays extremely well with the bouncing bassline. As the track progresses, detuned chords are added to give an evolving unstoppable feeling. On the flip ‘Break It Down’ follows a similar construction plus a tribalistic rhythm and sharp hi-hats. The Italian also shows a good taste on sampling due to the use of chopped vocals that are added in certain parts of the track.
