As Clarisse race into the 90s, the funky house operation codenamed Gemini 529 comes coordinated from Venice DJs Fred & Sant, whose business card reads as climbers of the local scene that has allowed them to put in work for UK labels Stashed Music and NastyFunk, and White Widow out of Poland. Their clubbing mantra treats house as religious spirituality, though they're not averse to coveting 'Dat Ass', a Traxsource chart topper from last year.

Centred on a bassline to leave you hoping that these DJs will rescue you, 'About' keeps the recent spate of European storms at bay by energetically putting you through your paces. Percussion puts up a blur of hands on the skins, and its R&B vocal sounds a lot like it's only after one thing. 529% funky, and for those itching for some clubbing to keep the cold out, something to easily slip into.

Knocking off half a BPM so the 'Panther' can prowl with both pride and intent, the Gemini two get a little lower and deeper with the bass and beats. A braying call from the wild acts as a call-to-arms that can be heard from far and wide, and is the perfect adornment to classically raised tribalism. A rewarding chug for when you lift you head to see the clouds part, or for keeping eyes down in a downpour of determined sweat.
