Dopo averci offerto un assaggio nell’estate del 2019 con il bellissimo singolo “019”, esce finalmente per Irma Records 'Dunthe', il nuovo singolo degli Orange Combutta. Il progetto nasce da un’idea di Giovanni Minguzzi (batteria) che, partendo dal trio con Davide Tardozzi (chitarra) e Lorenzo Serasini (basso), ha allargato la formazione, per creare un collettivo che gli permettesse di sperimentare in varie direzioni: tra i musicisti coinvolti spiccano nomi stimati e conosciuti in ambito sperimentale come Paolo Raineri (Ottone Pesante, tromba) e Vincenzo Vasi (OoopopoiooO, theremin, voce e altri piccoli strumenti), a fianco di musicisti provenienti soprattutto dall’ambiente jazz quali Gabriele Carbone, Federico Squassabia, Massimo Morganti, Giacomo Bertocchi, Sebastian Mannutza, Nicola Nieddu. In seguito il gruppo si arricchisce con l’arrivo del produttore Mattia “Matta” Dallara (Amycanbe, Lucifour M, Mack, Jestofunk…) e di MYK L (cioè Michele Ducci degli M+A, qui presente alla voce in 5 brani), ultimo tassello per realizzare il sound Orange Combutta: ritmica soul hip-hop, sintesi orchestrale, live electronics, samples, un theremin surrealista, voci eteree e melodie sognanti, il tutto guardando all’immaginario dei film di Spike Lee, Wes Anderson, Sergio Leone e Hayao Miyazaki. Dunthe” ft. MYK L è un viaggio alieno che fonde spaghetti western, X-files e cinematic sounds, in cui sono protagonisti la voce di MYK L - con il contrappunto di parti cantate parti rappate in stile Gorillaz - la sezione fiati, il razzo spaziale del theremin di Vincenzo Vasi e l'orchestrazione finale, ispirata ai grandi geni di Gil Evans e Modest Mussorgsky.

After offering us a taste in the summer of 2019 with the beautiful single "019", it finally comes out for Irma Records 'Dunthe', the new single from Orange Combutta. The project was born from an idea by Giovanni Minguzzi (drums) who, starting from the trio with Davide Tardozzi (guitar) and Lorenzo Serasini (bass), expanded the band, to create a collective that would allow him to experiment in various directions: between the musicians involved stand out esteemed and well-known names in the experimental field such as Paolo Raineri (Ottone Pesante, trumpet) and Vincenzo Vasi (OoopopoiooO, theremin, voice and other small instruments), alongside musicians coming mainly from the jazz environment such as Gabriele Carbone, Federico Squassabia, Massimo Morganti, Giacomo Bertocchi, Sebastian Mannutza, Nicola Nieddu. Later the group is enriched with the arrival of the producer Mattia "Matta" Dallara (Amycanbe, Lucifour M, Mack, Jestofunk ...) and MYK L (Michele Ducci of M + A, present here on vocals in 5 tracks), last piece to make the Orange Combutta sound: soul hip-hop rhythm, orchestral synthesis, live electronics, samples, a surrealist theremin, ethereal voices and dreamy melodies, all looking at the imaginary of the films of Spike Lee, Wes Anderson, Sergio Leone and Hayao Miyazaki. Dunthe ft. MYK L is an alien journey that mixes spaghetti westerns, X-files and cinematic sounds, in which the voice of MYK L is protagonists - with the counterpoint of sung parts and rapped parts in Gorillaz style - the brass section, the space rocket of the theremin of Vincenzo Vasi and the final orchestration, inspired by the great geniuses of Gil Evans and Modest Mussorgsky.
