Having recently provided Andy Vaz with ‘Nostalgia Train EP’ to reboot his revered YORE Imprint, Orlando B returns to his own label ‘Contemplate’ for the first release of 2020.

As you would expect, this 4 track EP contains deep, emotive string led house designed to keep you warm well into the night.

Opening track ‘Heartstingz’ is a deep bumpin’ house groover. A classic oldschool pad filters in, slowly leading towards a tugging string melody and deep sub-bass line.

Title track ‘Into the Deep’ is a slow burner containing Detroit chordz and an electro rhythm. Nostalgic melodies and string parts are gradually introduced building towards the peak section, glued together with a haunting arpegiated melody taking the listener “into the deep”.

‘Deeper In Your Soul’ is an epic number with it’s atmospheric chords, haunting synth’ melody, warm analogue bass and vocals by Mr. B (heavily effected of course).

The closing track started off as a hip hop jam but ended up as a slowed down house number. The chords and melody have a distinct Balearic flavour propped up with raw MPC beats for good measure. The perfect vibe to close the EP.
