GOGO Music continues its declared mission to electrify you with music to elevate mind and soul, ready to blast the dance floors around the globe. 'Tapta Beach' is a collaboration of Fast Vision Soul and the 60 Hertz Project. Tapta stands for the hometowns of the likeminded artists TAviano in the South of Italy and PreToriA, the mecca of House Music in South Africa. The stellar set of remixes is provided by Manoo, BlackJean & Marvin K and Trancemicsoul.
Francesco Briganti a.k.a. Fast Vision Soul started his musical career in 2004 as a DJ. Ever since he played in countless Italian clubs and graced many radio channels like Smoothtraxx (Greece), SSRadioUK (UK) or Cyberjamz (USA) with his sets. After completing his studio in 2008, he was able to live out his strong passion for Afro, Deep, Soulful and Latin sound. His first releases immediately received the attention and positive feedback from peers like Jimpster or Lars Behrenroth, but it was his single "Babatunde" on GOGO Music in 2009 which brought him the deserved breakthrough.
60 Hertz Project belay a very successful year for them, in which they delivered one of the biggest instrumental deep house tracks of 2011, titled 'Capricorn' and released by GOGO Music. 60 Hertz Project was formed mid June 2009 in Pretoria and is a fusion of musicians and producers who as well perform live. When producer and DJ BlackJean was joined by the likeminded Deeptwelve and Marvin K, they inspired to collaborate with pianist SDK, bass-player Kmor, guitarist Tap plus percussionist and vocalist Cromy. Their release 'Capricorn' hit #1 on Traxsource earlier this year and the Ralf GUM remix of it is featured e.g. on DJ Spinna's upcoming 'Southport Weekender' compilation, just as on South African DJ Christos' 'Magic Sessions Vol 2' CD.
Manoo became an integral part of the worldwide house music scene since his career started 1995 in Lyon. His musical culture includes a wide range of styles: from Hip-Hop to Afro-Beat and more specifically House music. He built himself a strong reputation for his capacity to dig out hot and exclusive tracks. Either as a part of critical acclaimed Rodamaal, which he formed with Rocco and Alex Santos or as a solo artist his productions bedighted some of the best labels and we're happy to present his fierce Soca mixes as addition to the package.
Furthermore we welcome back Trancemicsoul from Pretoria, who delivers the soulful interpretation. Clement Phaswane, better known as Trancemicsoul, already managed to receive global attention at his young age. With productions on various labels in his home country and internationally, he has to be counted beyond the most interesting talents emerging from the fertile soils of the South African House Music scene.
GOGO Music comes up once more with an outing that already goes down a treat as one of the featured themes on South African Vuzu TV and the Vodacom Unlimited Tour, starched by an elegant package of remixes, each one providing a distinctive flavour.
