Lorenzo De Blanck makes his debut on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records this month with his debut ‘White Havana’ EP. Lorenzo is no newcomer to the scene with past successes on labels including NONSTOP, Moon Harbour, Flashmob Records, Deeperfect and previous DJ support from A-Lister’s, Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli, Jamie Jones, Matthias Tanzmann, Kölsch and many more! Lead track, ‘White Havana’ kicks things off, a crisp and energetic cut featuring swinging claps, suspenseful synths and a playful rise and fall bassline. ‘Password Incorrect’ brings laid back House drums with crisply mixed percussion, looped vocals and a pulsating low-end which underpins a series of hypnotic synth hooks that grow with subtle melodic hints. Rounding things off is ‘Fun’, another smooth groover with percolating rhythms, an infectious bassline, robust snares and chopped vox samples, forming a production destined to inject life into any situation.
