After two very successful Various Artists EPs, TERRAZA V.A and HORCHATA V.A, theBasement Discos has worked its magic once again and has put together a major league team to present a new 8-track compilation under the name of BEYOND PAELLA V.A.

As you can probably tell from the name, this V.A is, once again, full of the Valencian flavour that has made our previous releases attract international attention. On the line-up for BEYOND PAELLA V.A we have a bunch of international artists making their debut for the label as well as some familiar faces, such as Olivier Verhaeghe, Etur Usheo and our homeboy Whatever Charles.

The first track of the V.A is from Adrien Calvet and it is called Remember. A pumpy disco-house track with some jazzy samples that will make you Remember this year's summer night boogies. We then have Olivier Verhaeghe from Belgium back with Pineapple Punch, followed by Zeleke with Discotec, Unfulano & Oriol Mubu from Castellon, Spain with I Won't Waste Your Time, Peletronic keeps it groovy with Ain't Talking No Disco and Mateo Viti finishes it off with Toothpaste.

We also welcome back Etur Usheo, the German responsible for our second release 'Weekend'. Etur surprises us with 'Perfect Love' a delightful house track that reminds us of the 90s Chicago scene but in Etur's own German way.

Our own resident producer also joins the team with Medianoche. A house track in which Whatever Charles shows us his darker side, with deep melodies, melancholic piano riffs and jazzy elements such as the sax samples.

Overall, this is a very special compilation that we are extremely proud of. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.
