Tim Branch delivers his 2nd EP on KORECRAFT Dusk and follows his style elegantly. The epic piece 'Strange Runner' begins with an innocent dreamy bell intro until it opens up to its grandiose theme. Its blazing own-story telling bassline and the modernized 80's style synth warps a mental picture of a mid-eighties Sci-Fi soundstripe into ones head. The name giver 'Aurora Australis' is equally velvety with a somewhat more gloomy character. Its laced melancholy in combination with the sonically clean synth gives a well tempered feeling and still inspires contemplativeness.
