The London native had an astounding 2019 with tracks on CR2, High Pressure, Moustache and more. His ever-full gig calendar was certainly brightened up by sets at Fabric, Basing House and beyond.
Opening the EP is the title track 'Close Encounters', a bumpy tech house ride filled with off-kilter FX, a killer bassline and crisp percussion. Next is 'Mafia Groove' a deeper cut but no less groovy. Again, Ben's trademark bass goodness takes centre stage with vocal snips and percussive nuance. Finally, 'Change Your Ways' takes a smooth, melodic path with a big vocal and some nice acid overtones.
