Late Night Music brings Melbourne-based producer Mønarch into the fold for our eighth release, with his EP A Night in the Wilderness, a cerebral journey of light and spacious beats.
Beginning with an ambient introduction on The Woods to set the scene, producer Dean Elliott soon moves into a reserved, deep progressive piece with Lunar Howling - exemplified by echoed bell percussion, soft piano and a wolf's cry in the distance.
A cold wind opens the final track Fields, before quickly moving into a melancholic number characterised by swirling synths and a resonant bass – a big moment for any progressive journey DJ set.
Melbourne producers B-tham and Christopher Brooks add their own unique touches to the remixes – Christopher building even further layers of warmth to surround the mix with dub effects, while B-tham brings his signature groove and percussive tension to his version – perfect for a darker techno dancefloor.
