Alan Nieves is back on Roush this mid September with ‘Whatcha Want’, his new three-track EP. A warm summer comeback that confirms the trust on Alan Nieves’ music from the Roush team. Hailing from New York, Alan Nieves has been working to establish himself as one to watch tech house producers all over this past years. Combining great deep grooves with danceable rhythms Alan Nieves is releasing brilliant works in labels like Sanity, Wow! and elrow Music just to name a few. This works and his great DJ skills allowed Alan to play in infamous NYC venues such as Output or Cielo, two of the top notch discos of the Big Apple. Regarding to the EP, opener ‘Whatcha Want’ shows Alan’s great production skills with an arpeggiated and well built breakdown. Precisely, this composition has the kind of breakdowns that you will require when you want to take your DJ set into the next level. Following up, ‘Keep The Beat Going’, combines energetic percussion with a nice punchy low-end. Last but not least, ‘What Are You Saying’ must be the most housey tracks of the package. This is due to its classic detuned chord progression and the vocal loop. It closes this work in a classy way making a great balance between tech' and house.
