Nico returns to Bonzai Progressive with, Mississippi, alongside two excellent remixes. This one follows, Liberta, from the Summer of 2019, and stands to be yet another well received cut. For many years he's been at the forefront of dance music as both a DJ and producer. It all started with a DJ gig at the infamous Atmoz club, from there he enjoyed success playing at Belgium's top venues as well as travelling the world. He has also brought his skills to many festivals with regular appearances including Bonzai Retro, Legacy Festival, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and a host of other notable events. His foray into the production world started with a demo he sent to Antler Subway which was met with success when he saw his tracks championed across the world by the likes of Tiesto, Oakenfold, Cox, Van Buuren and many more. After a period of time with EMI he signed an exclusive contract with the legendary Bonzai Progressive where his brand of smooth, deep, progressive vibes would shine. Nico now boasts a hugely impressive catalogue of original works and remixes which continues to grow with every expertly crafted construction.

Right from the off, the Original Mix sets a warm tone, drawing us in and captivating the mind with its lush vibe and deep grooves. A melodic analogue bassline dominates, mesmerizing as tight beats lead a steady rhythm. Ethereal pads create a dark, atmosphere, melting effortlessly into the groove. A moody affair that will keep the building set moving, top notch stuff.

We welcome Rick Pier O’Neil back to Bonzai Progressive with his solid remix. Last time out he gave us the fantastic Conga d'Oru, alongside Chris Gavin. Accomplished French native Rick runs the popular Vesta Records with Manu Riga as well as other labels. Rick is a celebrated, hardworking artist with a massive back catalogue and it’s always a pleasure having him here. On the remix here, Rick compliments the original with a beautiful interpretation, stemming from those wispy pads that warrant an emotive response. Super frisky beats and shuffling hi hats set up a solid drum arrangement as a powerful, pulsing bassline comes through. We see the analogue style bass take centre-stage once again, driving the narrative and contrasting against subtle arpeggio melodies. A superb effort that is not to be missed.

Haievyk aka Ruslan Haievyk returns to BP on remix duties, following on from his last stint here with The Universe. Ruslan is on fire at the moment, he has dished out some top-quality stuff for us in the last few years and we always get excited when his newest works come through the office. Here, Ruslan adds his skills on the remix, taking us on a deeper journey while focusing in on the melodic elements. A nice and smooth progressive mover filled with detailed percussion and intricate patterns. The bass parts stand out and are complimented by the airy pads that hypnotize making this a definite must have for the later sessions.
