German-born artist Alvin Kyer has a very good taste to cook any kind of track no matter what the genre is. He has released tech house stuff in Roush, techno infused beats in Dubnation and now it’s time to delivers some housey cuts in our newest label, Bumpcut. Regarding to the career of Alvin Kyer there is a very interesting fact that we want to tell you. He became the youngest resident DJ in all Germany at the age of 15. This happened after being discovered by Stuttgart club M1’s owner Bubi Schuster. Regarding to the EP, title cut, ‘The Hands’ shows the great studio abilities of Alvin Kyer with this hip-hop influenced track. The raw beat plus the rap vocal matches perfectly and the rising effects like the dry drum roll and sweeps works perfectly in rough dancefloors. Next up, ‘Turn it Back’ has a simple but effective saturated drum giving us a result a high powered house cut. The female vocal gives an ecstasy when it appears. As third, and final track, ‘Overtake’ is great way to end this EP. The track is an constant movement due to the multiple risers across the composition.
