Moved by the incredibly Huicholes, indigenous people of Mexico living in the Sierra Madre Occidental, Robbie Akbal delivers his first album visualizing an all around ethnic concept, that is a fusion of dreamy melodies, natural textures and earthy percussion, often mixed with tribal rhythms.
Inspired by the end of 90s Cenote parties in the Maya Riviera, where Robbie grew up influenced with deep tribal jungly ideas, this album is a vision of his genuine passion for organic music. The package includes two collaborations with Ay Sarita, a pure artist with a crystalline voice . All the recording, mixing and engineering process was made at Black Head Studios in Berlin, we wanted to express big thanks to Jan Eric Scholz, best sound engineer ever . Thank you for listening!!
