Following on from the amazing support for 'Disco Quavers' EP from Chewy Rubs and Fingerman! It's only fair to share with you four dance floor tools from Chewy's own personal box of tricks,...and its some real heft stuff party people!!
DISCO HOOK - First up is a stripped back rub-a-dub of a classic disco jam that takes the best elements of the original that incorporate layered filters and effects with a bump to create a funk that builds to a break of disco carnival goodness worthy of heating up any dance floor!!
PARTY TOOL - G-Funk Disco has arrived in the form of this next offering with a cheeky loop from a Hip Hop classic that filters in and out to enhance the drop of layered bass, rhythmic synth lines and echo fills... Road tested at this years Brighton pride...... safe to say it works!!
GARAGE DISCO iV - Continuing with a theme from previous releases is the next Garage Disco project that focuses on a more progressive Disco vibe thats a little deeper and minimal whilst maintaining energy and drive! Number 4 is a rolling hypnotic Disco gem that builds to a layer of funky ass guitar bass that slides along with tribal percussion and a, can you spot the??... sample urging you not to stop! Groove on baby!!
HYPNOTIZIN' - Rounding proceedings off with another rolling, gloopy bass monster thats strong enough to pull the ears of a gundark! Tight loops driven by a warm rumble, a plucky bass twang and infectious rhythm, alongside atmospheric pads, dark keys, si-fi fx and vox cuts that lead to a nicely placed snippet of a classic vocal that takes you to another dimension!!
