It's a pleasure for Soluble Recordings to welcome Matt Hill onboard the label with his debut single 'Think 4 Yourself.' Matt Hill began his journey in the world of electronic music over 20 years ago producing and releasing his first vinyl E.P. under the moniker 'GalaxyTalk'. As time went on, just like in many other artists cases, Hill's style of music has progressed and been refined to something different now but much more himself. From various clubs in Southern California to the deep desert parties of the Mojave, Matt has been establishing himself as a prominent DJ and producer in the house and techno scene. Of the many collectives/labels in Southern California, Hill is a co-founder and curator of Love Underground, Like.Minded and is also an assistant coordinator for DeepAura. Groovy, deep, and minimal vibes infiltrate the soundscapes of Hill's sets. His goal is for the listeners to resonate with their experience of his perspective of M.U.S.I.C. .. Momentum Unifying Spiritual Inward Consciousness. 'Think 4 Yourself' will be Matt's first release in over 20 years. The track is groovy, melodic, and deep, and was initially inspired by a vocal sample from an Alan Watts discourse which caught his ear. The message of the track is positive and uplifting, and the groove is hypnotic yet housey. The remix of 'Think 4 Yourself' by Soluble label founder Tomas Bollo aka Bollo maintains much of the essence of the original track, while taking the listener into rich harmonic territory with layered synth driven grooves. With over 150 tracks released under the alias Bollo, he expresses the more electronic side of his production skills with this remix.
