Serge Negri and Tasha Mabry have teamed up once again for their sophomore release, 'The Cigarette EP'. Tasha's late night vocals are full of emotion and you can feel her pain as she sings about the trials and tribulations of a woman in love. The title track features the guitar stylings of Brooklyn's own, Tesfa. Serge's production makes wonderful use of his acoustic guitar and gives the track a dirty, Afro-Funk House feel.

The B-side single, 'Don't Break My Heart', has an infectious groove that takes over the room as soon as the track starts. Tasha then seductively paints a colorful portrayal of what it is like to take a chance on romance. 'Don't Break My Heart', comes in two varieties: Sweet & Sour. Both mixes will shake the building, but the Bedstuy mix offers a more laidback, early morning feeling that will take dancers on a serious journey through the depths of urban relationships, temptation and passion.
