Hamburg based Mikah is the newest face joining the Heinz Music family. Being a resident in renowned clubs such as Uebel und Gefährlich and Docks he has developed an exquisite taste in finding the right music for the right moment. This has turned out to be a handy skill when finding his style while producing. Multifaceted and full of energy, his “Jangal EP” strikes all the right chords, giving us exactly what we would like to hear on the dance floor.

The title track is a rhythmic explosion of tribal inspired percussions. It is almost a bit shamanic, with the mysterious and slightly dark melodic theme in combination with the vocal elements. On remixing duty this time is the up and coming Daniel Rateuke. A familiar face from Stil Vor Talent, this guy knows how to push the listeners buttons, and delivers a beautiful and groovy version while keeping the mystical flair from the original.

“Rebel” brings fresh energy into the mix with a forward driving groove, laying the foundation for a solid synth building up big momentum. Rounding up the EP is “Violon”, a vibrant tune with tender and dreamy melodies supported by a powerful groove. Mikah lands with a bang, ready to assert himself among the big names in the industry. And this is a solid introduction.
