Maybe You're Right

Dakin Auret

Oh So Coy Recordings
OSCR029 | 2011-12-12
'Maybe You're Right' sits comfortably on the fence when it comes to genres yet we're sure it'll appeal to true house lovers everywhere!

The original sits blissfully dubbed out with pulsing beats & FX pushing on top a haunted bass groove. Warm male vocals take to the fore whilst wobbly synths fill out the breaks. Super deep & delicious!

Remixes were enlisted to a trusted handful of new & old OSC fiends & friends...
First up from the esteemed Bounce House imprint we have DK Watts who serves up his trademark clubby beats, bouncing bass & shimmery chords. A definite touch of Amsterdam.

Our good friend Lotus ups the tempo in his remix as epic leads soar amongst shifty beats and a bulging bassline. Driving house music with a slightly Eastern flavour.

More new blood comes in the form of Steve Banks. An extremely talented Scottish producer who has had his fair share of successful remixes for the likes of Soma, Push On Music & Baker Street.
Here Steve serves up thunderous drums, dreamy synth washes & a minimal bassline with more than a nod to the original.

Lastly have label owner Matt Prehn who takes things decidedly deep & dirty with his Horehaus remix. Subtly evolving stabs morph into a massive lead line backed by swinging beats and intricate production.
