Canadian producer Honeydripper makes his debut for Nordic Trax. The four-track ep ranges from peak-time funky house to moody and deep -- all with a distinct musicality. A trained musician, Honeydripper's years of experience in live music shine through on this project.
Edmonton-based Steven Gevenich, aka Honeydripper, is a producer, musician & deejay who's quickly become a staple on the Western Canadian House scene. A guitarist by trade, he has spent well over a decade heavily involved in live music -- taking inspiration and experience from a diverse background in jazz, funk & roots music. If you are lucky enough to catch him live, Honeydripper combines the classic sound of Chicago house with a unique performance: laying down the groove with his Fender Jazz electric bass live.
Honeydripper appears regularly at festivals and clubs in Western Canada and has played alongside Black Loops, Dunmore Park and Folamour to name a few. He has released a handful of eps to critical acclaim on Night Vision, Delve Deeper, Sooo Wet and House Salad.
