Following the release of their 2018 sophomore album ULTRA, Seattle duo NAVVI immediately got back to work. And they worked fast. Having labored extensively over their previous LPs, the band gave themselves an exercise to trust their instincts and be impulsive– the one restraint being that they wanted the project to exist as a continuous mix. The band recorded their new EP, 25O2, during a week in a cabin at the base of Mount Si in Washington State. Brandishing powerful house beats and enrapturing vocal performances, 25O2 is just as stylish as it is affecting.
