Nuno Deconto is one of the most promising talents emerging from the electronic scene from Porto Alegre, Brazil. He released his first tracks at Get Physical in 2017 and has drawn on influences from Detroit Techno to develop his on style. On the “Runner” EP, Nuno try to fully introduce his signature from atmospheric beats and pounding bass-lines with twinkling keys and streaming neon synths to acid dub techno melodies. 'Runner' EP brings 2 original techno tracks and a nostalgic remix by Hiroshi Watanabe that are definitely a force to be reckoned with on the dance-floor.

Furthermore, the EP was inspired by the synthesiser Yamaha CS-80 used on the soundtrack of the movie 'Blade Runner' from 1982, which takes place in a futuristic Los Angeles city in the year 2019 and looks more like Tokyo, land of Hiroshi Watanabe. Coincidences apart, the EP got an early support from Derrick May who is playing it in many of his dj sets since last Sónar in July.
