Thijs Haal dishes out a fresh serving of rambunctious tech house rhythms in a three part EP 'Dance to the Beat', that emits buzzing energy along with some seriously sinister tones. The title track displays dissonant pads over top dark, percussive tones working in tandem with a playful bass synth to create something that is both fun and ominous. Plunging even deeper, 'Underground Waves' showcases heavy warehouse vibes as a cavernous kick punishes your sound system as the bass synth pulsates like the heart of the song. Meanwhile, jarring synths grow and grow from the abyss until reaching a point of extreme tension brought on by a subtle touch of 303 creating a sensation that will be heard and felt on the dancefloor. Killed Kassette also makes a fantastic contribution with a remix of 'Dance to the Beat'. Staying true to the original vibe, Killed Kassette offers up a tasteful variation by pushing the beat even harder with more energetic synth work, blistering hi-hats and raucous hip-hop samples.
