SAMU & ALEN NEZVI PRESENT 'ZIPPED EP'
And they do it in Tutu, with a remix by Marcos In Dub
Tutu, the label managed by DJ and producer Edgar de Ramón presents its tenth installment. This new 'Zipped EP' is signed by Samu & Alen Nezvi -from Peñíscola and Vinarós, respectively- and it also contains a remix by Marcos in Dub's hands and machines. In the year of its fourth anniversary, Tutu continues launching quality techno, high efficiency on the dance floor and vocational underground soul.
The EP counts on three original tracks -'Roll Down 'and' Upzid'- both signed by Samu and Alen Nezvi, plus one more, 'Pleurs'- with just Samu on the making and the remix that Marcos In Dub has developed for the already referred to as 'Roll Down'.
'ZIPPED EP'
The EP opens with the infallible 'Roll Down', a vibrant and melodic cut of acid and melodic club techno which adding a drop results in happily serious consequences in any club of the planet. The 'Roll Down' remix comes from the Madrid-born Marcos In Dub, who adds a few degrees of acidity and pads his drums in order to turn the sound into a more space oriented one, bringing a darker, more powerful techno energy, perfect for blowing everything up early in the morning. There is no 'tomorrow' to think about.
With 'Upzid' the duo formed by Samu and Alen Nezvi the dance, techy sound is plentiful, and it is also nourished by nervous percussions, environmental synths and melodies which are as canonical as diffuse, always at the service and under the command of 'techno' written in capital letters.
Finally, Samu, in his cut 'Pleurs', leans more towards an off-guard syncopated techno through which he plays with flashing pads moving towards a more mutant, synthesized and mind oriented techno.
