Abdon Moreno is the guy behind Nodba, another great discovery from the Manitox crew. Hailing from the sunny south of Spain he's the main responsible of the nineteenth reference dropping 'Sakale EP' on German Brigante's label.
First things first, we must say that listening to Sakale EP, you can notice that this newcomer's studio skills are something to take into account. With a previous release on Manitox with 'Alone On The Wave', a great melodic composition included in Tribalismo II, now it's time for him to release an excellent three-top-track EP.
Listening to Sakale, the track that names the EP, we find a very personal composition with organic elements and ethnic chants giving to the listener a trippy travel with its constant an evolving melodies. A synthesized arpeggio makes an stunning appearance helping to the main melody. 'Deserted Island' follows our journey with another tempo slowed track. This one is more intense than 'Sakale' with a great melancholy hook which appears brilliantly in an emotive breakdown. Last but not least, in 'Dance To Unlock', Nodba raises the tempo offering a great closing weapon for deep-melodic heads. With a simple beat beat composed of snap and shakers, the entire burden is on a dreamy positive melody that offers the perfect icing on the cake for the EP.
Nodba's 'Sakale EP' will be available on main platforms next 24th June.
