Kevin McKay & Andy Carrick's debut release on the Muzique Tropique label came after McKay had failed to secure a release with any of the Scottish dance labels at the time. Instead he got some funding from the Princes Trust, created the Muzique Tropique imprint and pressed this 4 track ep, recorded under the artist name 4AM (so named because of the general afterhours nature of their sound). The release found its way into the DJ boxes of tastemakers like Terry Farley & CJ Mackintosh and Roger Sanchez went as far as including "Shipwrecked" on his Essential Mix.
