Kuukou Records is an eclectic label headed up by Simina Grigoriu who features a remix on the new release alongside original tracks from Berlin based Red Pig Flower, and a rework from Cosmin TRG working under his Com Sin alias.

Born of Korean-Japanese heritage, Red Pig Flower has a unique take on electronic music with dance floor focused tracks that have a strong atmosphere intertwined with the groove. Often dark and trippy, her music can be found on other noteworthy labels including Baile Musik and Sound of Vast.

Also on the EP is Com Sin aka Cosmin TRG who has been using his new alias to experiment with a deeper and more stripped back sound. Cosmin TRG has featured on some of electronic music best known labels ranging from 50 Weapons to Hessle Audio, and this is only the third release to include his new pseudonym.

Simina Grigoriu has previously featured on the homebase Kuukou as well as labels like FORM Music in France, and her popularity as one of Germany’s most in demand DJ’s has led to hear being a on the front cover of revered print publications such as FAZE Mag.

The originals here are deep techno with a dark and atmospheric vibe, whilst the Com Sin remix by Cosmin TRG lifts the mood with the warm pads of his dubby rework. Simina Grigoriu finishes the EP with her toughened up version of “Ghost”.
