New York City's Avision makes his Mindshake debut with 3 extremely well-produced tracks, all taking their own direction, but with hints of that yet forward-thinking - yet- retro Detroit sound that makes Avision stand out from his contemporary peers.

His titletrack 'Big Shot' is exactly that... a big shot aimed directly for the minds and bodies it encounters on the dance floor. It's as hypnotically captivating for the head as it is moving for the soul. Big dubby synth hits and vocal stabs give it that essential retro feel, with contemporary percussion and basslines keeping the track, well... BIG.

Paco Osuna makes his return on Remix duties with his interpretation of 'Big Shot'. He tastefully keeps the future-retro vibe from the original but ups the ante with tempo and energy to make big room and peak hour focused. Such a deliciously appropriate take on the original.

'Trippin' Or Buggin'' takes a slightly different turn. With it's heavy focus on highly intricate and pacey percussion, Avision makes his mark with big repetitive synth hits giving it that cool future-retro feel once again that has so defined this entire EP. The perfect percussive banger to fill any tech set.

'Missfit' completes the EP with an absolute floor stomper. Swirling efx throughout, repetitive vocal and synth stabs, intelligent yet subtle atmospheres... this track has it all.
