Vintage and Morelli, the virtuosic Serbian composer and DJ, has been especially busy in the studio this past year completing his second artist album, "Hymn To The Night." We are thrilled to present "Ascension," the first single from the forthcoming album. Epitomizing the house-meets-trance aural aesthetic that is synonymous with his name, "Ascension" begins with a characteristically swingy (progressive) house rhythm, as the infectious vocal sample is introduced. This teaser hook, "feel like you take me," proves to be the track's central motif. The crescendoing groove achieves its zenith in the ecstatic drop section, where rapturous chords coalesce with the full phrase, "I feel like you take me... higher." The uplifting soundscape, imbued with subtle touches of melancholy, is Vintage and Morelli at his best.
