There are hints of classic Deep House in this new tune from Vasily Umanets. 'Music without finite', Vasily's second EP for Time 2 House hit a variety of moods within his trademark sound.
Russian artist has an enviable record when it comes to remixing, transforming tracks from the likes of Steve Mag, BDTom and Wallo with his own signature excellence. A best international pack is exactly what we needed.
The title track has a clear line. It sounds like a good house groove with casual gentle beats. Each of the five tracks here successfully echoes this sound.
BDTom's remix packages original tape into a soft dub structure. He has personal vision how it should sound.
Steve Mag's work has something in common with this remix, but it immerses us even more into a melodic and pleasant atmosphere. It also provides a unique opportunity for thoughtful reflection.
Wallo remix in its rhythmic bassline and vocal snippets turn the original into a hectic moving mechanism. It's up to his usual standards, but the contrast with main track is telling of a confident movement towards the dance floor.
And finally a fat bassline makes 'Air Space' a great addition to the package.
The whole disc is beautifully produced. Another one EP of Time 2 House's discography is designed to challenge dance floors.
