Goldswagger continues their love affair with the dancefloor with 'Fix It Up [Remixes] Part Two', the second round of fiery club reworks of their infectious single featuring Maya Azucena.

For the proceedings, the soul-jazz-funk collective (founded by acclaimed songwriter, producer, multi-musician and Easy Star All-Stars co-founder Michael Goldwasser) enlists Chicago deep house master (and former Frankie Knuckles warm-up DJ) Elbert Phillips, Muted Trax label head Mike Dominico and newcomer Kelix Williams to retool their bouncy, disco-tinged soul serenade into a dynamic set of sizzling floor-fillers.

Elbert Phillips kicks things off with his euphoric, spiritually-minded mix that cleverly expands on the vibrant organic instrumentation, jaunty syncopated rhythms and deep soulful tones of the original. Fueled by a punchy, yet fluid, undulating groove suffused with thumping understated drums, crisp percussion, subtle guitar licks, rasping horns and exquisite additional keys (impeccably performed by William Kirk), Phillips creates a harmonious musical backdrop where Azucena's tender velvety vocals (echoing Siedah Garrett and Atlantic Starr's Sharon Bryant), penetrating rapturous melodies can take center stage.

Mike Dominico follows with his explosive "Fierce It Up Dub" - a relentless "peak-time" filtered jackin' disco-house juggernaut guaranteed to pack floors and whip dancers into a sweat-induced frenzy. Iowa native Kelix Williams closes out the package with his equally propulsive, inescapably-funky mix that surges and sways with chunky rippling bass, pumping drums, brisk percussion, soaring keys and a thrusting polyrhythmic groove.
