Fumani Mahlale also known as Echo12inch is a born-and-bred house music DJ/Producer from Malamulele, Limpopo, South Africa. Inspired by Black Coffee, Boddhi Satva, Atjazz, Djeff & Silyvi - Echo12inch's distinct sound is also influenced by the vast and wild spaces of Limpopo and tribal drum rhythms blended together to create a deep musical atmosphere grounded in African soil.
His first DJ gig was at the age of 16 at a music festival, at 19 he started producing his own material and in 2010 he started up his own label - 12inch Entertainment - featuring world class vocalists like Puncu, Nkateko Governor and Dolly. Tracks have included 'I Ntsako', 'Cina', 'Panama', 'Ndhumba', 'My Life', 'The Calling', 'The Connection'...) released not just through his own label but also through Soul Candi Records and Tribe Records.
This young Producer has a mature take on house with his signature Afro sound and a fusion of Minimal Tech - his beats move your feet while they take your imagination on a journey. Echo12inch has worked with the likes of Tronix Deep, Afro Warriors, DJ Mizz and graced dance floors and radio stations country wide and abroad.

Echo12inch came across Michael - a gospel vocal artist – when they went to the same University. They met again at the church where Michael sang and then at a party where Echo12inch was DJing. Lyrically 'Choices' is a reflection of Michael's life.
