MEAT Recordings is back with its tenth edition showcasing the wide variety of Viennese techno by presenting you the first solo vinyl record by label mainstay Specific Objects. 'Encounters of Uncertainty' is his most versatile release yet, spanning different styles, moods and approaches to techno while keeping the focus on the dancefloor.

The narrative-driven EP starts off with the spacious ambience of 'On First Sight' to set the mood and introduce what's about to come before kicking in full force with its first club-ready track, 'Unintentional Desire'. On the rolling and distorted bassline floats a crystal-clear synth in staggering arpeggios - a cornerstone of Specific Objects' modernist style - only to make way for a crackling pad that ramps up the intensity.

On the follow-ups, 'Temptation of Novelty' and 'Inevitable Decision', Specific Objects explores a terrain dominated by groove and eerie atmospheres that is surrounded by sub-heavy kicks and noisy textures. The final chapter is 'Departure', a wide and emotional tune carried by a warm bassline, breathing leads and precise percussions on top.

For the digital release label newcomer Farr delivers an exclusive remix of 'Temptation of Novelty', turning the atmospheric tune into a fast and driving stomper that opens up mid-track with lush pads in a contemporary style. His remix rounds off 'Encounters of Uncertainty' as an approach to what is MEAT Recordings' grasp on techno.

This record is another strong impact from the upcoming artist and will strongly pave the way for his musical future.
