Beating Heart - Afro Chill Vol.1 explores vintage recordings from 1950's Tanzania. The use of bamboo flute sounds, Ngondo dance songs and praise songs from the Haya people are woven into a tapestry of spaces for this selection of downtempo beats. The release features artists from the UK, Peru and Sweden producing 4 tracks which showcase these sounds in a new light.
