Hailing from New Jersey, Patti Kane began her musical studies at the age of six in the chorus, then learned to read music at the age of 10 and to compose at the age 14. She began DJing in 1994 when vinyl was still the only way to go.
While working with DA MoD SQUAD (DMR and DJ Sal), she decided to put her studies to use and create a song of her own. Beauty Like the Night in collaboration with DMR and DJ Sal is a soft, sensual description of the relationship between a dancer and the music.
DJ Patti Kane is known for her internet radio shows in London and Italy as well as her appearances in Honolulu, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and NJ. Her latest project is an EP production, titled “moving in silence…..She Speaks”. The EP will include deep house, progressive house, and spoken word tracks, featuring pianist Brisdane and spoken word artist B Sweetz. The EP will also revisit DJ Patti Kane’s own spoken word piece, Beauty Like the Night.
In conjunction with Beatz by Knotty, DJ Sal, DJ Czezre, DJ Jigsaw, and MMS, this EP is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
