A year after his debut EP on Lost & Found, the acclaimed label run by Guy J, Kevin Huizing AKA Budakid has returned to the mothership. Budakid stamped on his own inventive mark, via a discrete bassline and a touchy piano hook that shouldn’t work but absolutely does. The refined piano stabs, rushing rhythm and suggestive strings provide a soundtrack for that subtle consciousness expansion more than any meditation podcast ever did. It’s an authentic audio journey with those hypnotic synth waves sending shivers down your spines.
