Not only for the lyrical content with the heart-on-sleeve stories she weaves but for the depth and warmth of production and the sheer melodic journey that Liberation takes you on. Four singers feature on this album Naomi Leigh and Cherry Mars, who embody that Venus in Motion sound, alongside guest singers Tammy Cartwright and Moses Okorotete who also deliver stunning performances. Standout tracks are difficult to select as it's an album of killers with no fillers! Album making is a soon-to-be-forgotten art form, especially in the way people typically access their music today but this outing is definitely one for kicking back somewhere, sometime soon.
