At the end of 2018, Chris Rubix released a track on Todd Terry's label, Terminator , this track titled Just Can not Wait finally puts this veteran DJ producer in full light again . It is the opportunity to remember that Black Jack had previously released two EPs from Chris back in 2000 and 2001: Pop Tones and Second Wave. Pop and synth-wave are the colors that can be found on this new production of the New Yorker, back on Black Jack twenty years later!
With Secret Love, Chris is honoring the label with a classic like track: his chorus translates as a hedonistic hymn on a french touch beat that contains just enough romance to make him reach the top of the charts. Superfunk's 80's remix revisits this timeless track with electro-pop synths and impeccable timing, Alexander Technique 's remix (another safe bet who passed by Terminator recently) completes this unstoppable EP.

Fin 2018, Chris Rubix sortait sur Terminator, le label de Todd Terry, le track Just Can't Wait qui remettait enfin ce DJ producteur veteran en pleine lumiere. L'occasion de se rappeler que Black Jack avait sorti deux maxis du bonhomme en 2000 et 2001 : Pop Tones et Second Wave. Ca tombe bien : pop et synth-wave, ce sont les couleurs qu'on peut retrouver sur cette nouvelle production du New Yorkais, de retour sur Black Jack vingt ans apres !
Avec Secret Love, Chris fait honneur au label avec un titre profile comme un classique : son chur qui revient comme un hymne hedoniste sur un beat tres french touch qui contient juste ce qu'il faut de romantisme pour le hisser en haut des charts. Joueur, le 80's remix de Superfunk relifte ce track intemporel avec des synthes electro-pop au timing impeccable, un remix d'Alexander Technique (autre valeur sure passee chez Terminator recemment) completant ce maxi imparable.
