Sean McCabe presents Dannis Winston - Rocket Love (Louie Vega Remix)

At the tail end of summer 2018, singer-songwriter Dannis Winston scored a club and radio hit with 'Rocket Love', a summery soulful house workout produced by Good Vibrations Music founder Sean McCabe and legendary Mood II Swing producer Lem Springsteen. Now the song has been given a breezy and groovy makeover by a true legend of New York house music: GRAMMY Award winner Louie Vega.

The Masters at Work man has previously won awards for his remix work, so it's little surprise to find that Vega's remix of 'Rocket Love' elevates an already memorable track to dizzy new heights. Utilizing a virtuoso piano performance from regular collaborator Axel Tosca, a warm new bassline by Gene Perez and chunky, bumping beats, Vega has created a classic-sounding revision. There's no doubt about the star attraction, either: throughout the Masters at Work producer's revision, it's Winston's memorable lyrics and virtuoso vocal performance that rightly take centre stage.
