Kicking off 2019 in style, Random Soul return with an exciting new vocal single, 'Turn It Around'.
The original mix combines Yogi's soulful voice, some darker synth melodies and up-front crisp beats, create synergy for a current club record. The arp melody leading up to an epic breakdown with a trance like synth sound really lift this track up to compliment Yogi's undeniable vocal production. A must have for any Random Soul or Club house fan.
First up on remix duties is the incredibly busy UK house lord, Scott Diaz. Fresh from a huge year which saw him remixing for Defected, Peppermint Jam, Soul Love and Bobbin Head Music, Scott's mix perfectly combines his love of Garage and jacked up beats to create this bouncy house remix. Diaz has a trademark sound with his vocal cuts which help to create hidden melodies and phrases within a vocal, something he does with absolute class on this remix.
Next up is the Sydney duo, Secret Spade. They step up to offer a funk fuelled rendition for the poolside sets. Combining disco elements around warm synth stabs and guitars, this remix offers a summertime version for lovers of the full vocal mix.
Finally, Random Soul themselves turn up the heat with a classic soulful house version. Already tried and tested during a few live shows earlier in 2018, this version showcases their love for a hypnotic chord groove to drive a vocal record on the dance floor. A little more groove focused than the original, this mix is a nod to the classic soulful/garage flavours.
We can't think of a better way to start 2019 as Random Soul, 'Turn It Around'!!
