Stuttgarts Alexander Maier delivers another EP on Moodmusic, this time producing on a dirtier Chicago vibe, almost too mellow to be true but still dropping enough chi- town knowledge to jack any floor.
The original builds around a dirty hihat workout and dubbed out keys coupled with punchy toms pushing the track forward to a climax of piano hooks, rhodes and epic strings, before dropping to he dub theme for the latter part of the tune.
On the remix tip we have the duo of Christian Prommer and Alexander Barck as well as label head Sasse delivering some sweet love juice to the dance floors.
Prommer & Barck, hot from their album release "Alex And The Grizzly" on their excellent Derwin Recordings, turns Heslach into a funkier affair with some lovely guitar licks and added vocals to an epic monster of a remix which just builds and builds and is perfect for end of the season parties.
Sasse takes his beloved DX-100 and turns the bass up, keeping the original vibe and adding his trademark drums and portamento licks, building a solid deep house belter to fit any wedding.
