We welcome again Akenaton in the house after his brief appearance in our recent Tonal collection. He uses his extensive hardware arsenal to create a timeless piece of techno, with heavy roots in the foundational stone of Detroit, some glimpses at early Sheffield techno but yet with a futuristic approach.

Release starts with the dreamy Emphasis, a beautiful cosmic string landscape, harmonic, evocative and with a scifi soundtrack approach.

Anormal systems follows, mechanical arpeggios, resonant bleeps, heavy filter workout on the main sequence, shuffled hats and a constantly evolving arrangement making the recipe.

Buena actitud, starts with drums and an analogue bassline, white noise sweeps run thru the line, and dreamy pads and Detroit style drums run on top. Timeless deep techno.

Distraction goes next with a synth bassline as starring, yes a bassline, not a rumble, until classic Roland drums take over the rythm section, synth pads and textures are added in a tremendous floatable breakdown until the synth orchestra starts to run again.

Very proud of this wonderful release, away from standarized sound libraries and preset nonsense. A record that will stay.
