2018 has been one of the best recent years on record for Yoshitoshi, with an emphasis on quality over quantity and plenty to show for it. The label has made it a strong focus to develop long-lasting partnerships with the artists we work with, hosting many repeat releases and building a trusting and tight-knit family. In the last twelve months, artists like OC & Verde, Khainz, CJ Jeff, and Wolf Story have become integral parts of the Yoshitoshi network. As we head into 2019, the 25th anniversary of the label, these efforts have helped lay the groundwork for an even bigger year with many highlights ahead.

One of the big things for us this year was the continuation of Yoshitoshi Radio, my DJ mix show that we launched in mid-2017. As of writing this, the show is regularly reaching over a million listeners a week in more than 30 countries on 45 radio stations, and has featured guest mixes from some of the most exciting names in dance music. The show has become my testing ground for upcoming Yoshitoshi material, and much of what you see on this compilation was debuted in a Yoshitoshi Radio episode before it landed anywhere else.
