Manuel Sahagun & Christ Burstein, the seasoned duo behind Los Cabra, were drawn to each other through their mutual appreciation for deep, melodic rhythms. Individually they’ve been active within electronic music for over a decade now.
‘Hayat’ kicks things off with sharp synth stabs, organic percussion and emotive pads before ‘Pepiri Guazu’ offers up gentle melodies, winding modulations and euphoric elements. Pezzner then rounds things off with his remix of ‘Pepiri Guazu’ balancing tension building oscillations, undulating low end, and fluid drums to create an uplifting atmosphere throughout.
