Released in the summer of 2018, SHFT and his twin track "Memoir / Second Sight" brought a pair of melodic techno gems to Juicebox Music. Now, Yin and Yang celebrate a centenary of releases as "Second Sight" receives a pair of remixes courtesy of a trio of outstanding artists.

Belgian duo Modulo and Monotribe are a comparatively new collaborative pairing. Making their debut as part of Modulo's "Find the Truth" EP for Nie Wieder Schlafen in September 2017, an April remix of N'Pot and Nahue Juarez for Particles was another highlight. A success in his own right, Modulo has been a regular on the German imprint since March 2017's eight-track "Energy Patterns" EP and boasts a clutch of other releases on Dream Mode, Particles and the Visceral compilation series.

Making their Yang debut, the Modulo and Monotribe remix is a beautifully crafted offering that is full of exquisite melodic variation that resonates cleverly with SHFT's original themes. Evolving with a swathe of instrumentation and counterpoint motifs, a smooth and warm bass groove provides the perfect backdrop, accompanied by huge kick, swung off-beat percussion and 808-clap. The result is an innovative and original new interpretation.
